Say what is on this page. A price, location, delivery condition or clear scope can help someone decide whether to open it.
For a wide card, aim for 1200 × 630 px. Keep the subject and any text near the centre. Add an image description with og:image:alt.
Checks read the HTML response, without running JavaScript. Previews are simulations. Google can choose a different title or snippet for each query. Google Search Central ↗ · Open Graph ↗
A title identifies the page and a meta description summarises its value. Google may generate a different title link or snippet, so these are useful inputs rather than a guaranteed display.
Distinguish the page by meaning before adjusting preview width. Add a model, city or price only when the public content actually supports it.
<title>Coffee machine repair in Bratislava | Example</title>
<meta name="description" content="Diagnostics and repairs for automatic coffee machines. See supported brands, intake requirements and service contacts." />Google sets no fixed title character limit and may rewrite the displayed title. Use mobile and desktop width previews as estimates; equal-length strings can occupy different widths.
A value saved in a CMS may differ from the public response. A theme, SEO plugin or application code can generate the title; begin with what the page actually delivers.
“Repairs | Company” on every service gives readers little reason to choose a particular result. Name the equipment or service without adding a variation the content does not cover.
A meta description can summarise a service or article. Google may choose another snippet for a particular query; a changed display alone does not demonstrate a defect.
A width preview helps with writing but cannot reproduce every search result. Compare similar periods, queries and devices before attributing an outcome to the edit.

First compare the same country, device, queries, and approximate ranking. CTR can change because the query mix or results page changed. Rewrite with a specific hypothesis. Clarify the service, distinguish the product, or remove an unsupported promise. Record the deployment date so the result can be evaluated.
Google may generate a title link and snippet from other available parts of the page according to its content and the query. Check consistency between the title tag, H1 and main text. A preview is a proposed presentation, not a guaranteed search result.
Character counts are a guide. Display also depends on font width, device and result layout. Put important information first, write precisely and inspect both mobile and desktop previews.
The source contains one clear title and one relevant description. Evaluate subsequent data within a comparable segment; a green character-count indicator does not establish improved CTR.
